Spyware can steal your passwords, credit card information and other sensitive data so hackers can use it to harm you or your patrimony.
This program scans your system and detects the spyware that you may have, as well as other suspicious programs. It has three scanning modes: Fast, Full, and Custom, whose names explain themselves. The fast scan explores only the most important files and can take only a few minutes, while the full one analyzes the entire system, so it can take up to two hours or more. Of course, the duration of the analysis will depend on the size of your disk and the speed of your processor.
I tried both analyses and the fast one didn't find any problem, while the full one did. I also observed that my system became a little sluggish while carrying out the process, so you may want to take this into account when using the program. Finally, to remove the detected spyware, the program needs to close the active browser.
The installation wizard asks you to install extra software such as an online storage manager and so on. You can decline to do so and still have the program installed in your system. The program is ad-supported, meaning that it shows ads on its interface. This can be annoying for some people, so you may take it into account. If this is an issue for you, there is also a cost-based version available at the developer's website with more tools and other features.
